Casian Pink
A Caspian Pink tomato begins to ripen as the summer season continues. Caspian Pinks are a Russian heirloom variety from an area between the Caspian and Black Seas. The are large, pink beefsteak fruits averaging 10 to 12 ounces. Their sweet yet rich flavor is outstanding and has prompted some tasters to compare to it to Brandywine.
